Bio Corina:

My yoga path started many years ago in my home country Mexico, and led me to India, were I was lucky enough to study, thanks to Rashnu (Maggie Huges) with B.K.S. Iyengar in his institute in Pune. Apart from yoga in India, I studied also Thai massage, the Shivago Komarpaj tradition, in Kathmandu and Ayurveda in Kerala with M. Mahon.     My journey continued to Germany were I met Kaliji Kali Ray and her feminine creative TriYoga method. Because of my dance background I love the flow style of TriYoga.

Shakti Dance, in which I certified myself with Sara Avtar in Barcelona, fascinated me from the beginning. Especially Sara´s approach of mixing the yoga philosophy and mythology with dance. My next  study will be  Yin Yoga with Stefanie Arend.
Yoga, movement, and sharing my knowledge is my vocation, and I am more than happy being able to share with my students in my studio in Hanau, Germany, were I teach regular classes and teacher training in Triyoga. Every year I have the possibility to teach in workshops and lead retreats, in Germany, Mexico and Spain. Not only do I teach asanas.  Pranayama, therapeutic yoga, dance and meditation, which are all tools to connect with our essence and to remember that all is one, are an important aspect also in the classes I teach.

Bio Alosja:

After years of working behind the gaming tables as a croupier all over the world, I knew a change had to come. That change came with yoga.

For more than 20 years I have been practising and studying yoga. On my travels to India I got to practice Asthanga Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga. It was in 1997 that I started studying and practising Critical alignment yoga & therapy, with Gert van Leeuwen (author of the book Critical alignment yoga) at his institute in Amsterdam. I completed the teacher training in 2003, with the Yoga Alliance I am registered as a ERYT 500, id 59203.

Yoga is a practice for life, you never stop learning. So whenever I have the opportunity I take classes, with for example Brigitte Longueville from Solstice Yoga. With David McAmmond (Canada) I learnt a lot about Restorative yoga and with Anne O’Brien (U.S.A.) I was able to deepen my knowledge on how to teach. In July 2015 I took a Yin Yoga course in Monterrey with the Yoga People.

Currently I teach in Oaxaca, Mexico. not only regular classes, also private sessions, teaching workshops and retreats in de Oaxacan mountains and beach villages. Whenever I visit Europe, I teach workshops in Holland, at Sanayou yoga in Zwolle and Leyoga in Apeldoorn, and in Germany, at TriYoga, Hanau.

In 2013 we finished the first teacher training given by Alosja Yoga together with guest teachers. And I am happy to announce that there are now more than 35 new yoga teachers certificated as RYT200 here in Oaxaca. In May 2018 we started the fifth generation teacher training. When I am not teaching or practising yoga, I love to dance Salsa, training MMA, or walk my three adopted dogs.
